### Create an AdWords Campaign

Make a copy of this Google slide template and complete each section. When you are ready, save your file as a PDF and submit it here. Friendly reminder: Students must use the same product throughout the program.

Reminder for students who chose Option 2: for this option, you are responsible for your own budget, meaning you will need to supply your own funds and enter billing information before running your campaign in AdWords)

Build your Campaign

  1. Describe your approach in 250 words or less. Discuss what target audience you have identified for your course and how you have approached targeting, campaign structure and your ad copy. (Your description must include which course and country you were assigned.)
  2. Clearly state your Marketing Objective and KPI for this campaign. (Keep in mind that it is possible to track the number of course signups as conversions.)

Project checklist:

Your campaign name is your assigned campaign name
You are targeting India and set the targeted language to English
Your daily spend for the campaign is set to $10 if you are doing option 1
Your daily spend for the campaign is set to $15-$20 if you are doing option 2
Your Ad Group names describe your approach (e.g. referring to stages of the customer journey, different product aspects, or audience segmentation)
You created two Ad Groups
Each of your Ad Groups has a minimum of 20 keywords
Each of your Ad Groups has at least two ads
The final URL of your ads matches the one you have been provided
You “Saved and Paused” your campaign
You’ve provided the following for your submission:

  • Description of your approach
  • Marketing Objective and KPI for your campaign
  • Keyword list by Ad Group
  • Screenshots of each of your 4 or more ads
  • Screenshot of “Review your campaign” screen
  • Screenshot of your "Campaign Summary" screen

Submission

Finally, be sure to convert your presentation into a PDF and submit it below. It's straightforward to convert a PowerPoint presentation into a pdf on a PC or Mac. If you used Google Slides, simply click on File >> Download as…>> and choose pdf.
